Kellands Meet The Team – Andy Bradford

Next up in our meet the team series is Independent Financial Planner, Andy Bradford. Hear what he has to say about working at Kellands and how he got to where he is today.

Five words to describe you

Resilient, organised, self-motivated, calm, observant

What’s your background, how did you get where you are today?

I left university with a degree in Business & Finance, which then led me to work immediately in Financial Services. I have worked in this industry in a client facing advisory role for around 12 years. After leaving the industry for a couple of years, it helped me refocus and realise what I missed from the job. Coming back and working for Kellands was a fantastic opportunity to help me realise my goals and work with a company who had a similar philosophy.

The best thing about working at Kellands?

The structures and processes we have in place really benefit our clients and our working practices, which in turn allow us to focus on our client’s needs. Coupled with working alongside colleagues who all have the clients best interest at heart makes it a very genuine and warm place to work.

Why should people choose Kellands?

For the same reason I chose to come work here. Kellands genuinely care about clients, the numbers whilst doing our job are obviously critical however it’s conveying what those numbers mean to an individual is what I believe makes us stand out.

How do you wind down & what do you do in your spare time?

Having an 18-month-old, spare time is a distant memory! But when I do (and have the energy) I like to get on my bike and cycle up mountains…or at least a lump road through the Peak District. That being said, family time is hugely important to me.

Who would be your top five fantasy board members, dead or alive?

Jurgen Klopp, Frank Sinatra, Sir Dave Brailsford, Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson, Bob Mortimer.
